Meet your new go-to carry-all fluffy but structured, light but bold puffer bag. Each Hot & Boring puffer bag is made using only upcycled, deadstock and recycled materials giving waste textiles a softer, smarter afterlife.

BAG DETAILS:

• Approx. size: H25cm × W30cm × D20cm

• Straps: shoulder padded drop approx 35cm

• Closure: Flap with 3 magnetic claps and inner zip close. The flap size is adjustable so if you wish stuff the bag full, untie the bows to lengthen the flap so it still closes!

• Inside: Calico lining / key strap with clasp

• Outside: Deadstock Linen

• Care: Spot clean only, do not machine wash or tumble dry - linen fabrics can catch do not cut the thread - this will cause a hole!

SUSTAINABILITY NOTE:

Each Hot & Boring bag is made slowly and carefully from second-hand, vintage textiles and deadstock designer fabrics. Some of which are locally sourced from independent sellers or salvaged from clothing destined for landfill. All fabrics are washed before being used.

I design, cut, and sew everything myself using an industrial sewing machine at home, balancing this work around a full-time job as an art teacher. It’s a way to use my creative skills beyond the classroom – building something thoughtful, useful, and sustainable.

Every piece is a unique and entirely one off. No Hot & Boring bag will ever be made from the same fabric. The result is fun, practical, slightly imperfect, and one of a kind. Orders are packed with minimal waste and sent within the UK.

This is a hands-on, time-heavy process – but it means each bag has its own story, shaped by materials, method, and the slowness it deserves.
